Our Climate Transition Plan lays out how we\u2019re working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain, and how we\u2019re moving towards <strong>Net-Zero<\/strong>.<br><br>We\u2019ve set ambitious, science-based targets, validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in 2024. By 2030, we aim to cut our operational emissions (<strong>Scope 1 and 2 market-based<\/strong>) by at least 90% compared to 2019. We also plan to reduce key <strong>Scope 3 emissions<\/strong> (purchased goods &amp; services, capital goods, fuel- and energy-related activities and Use of sold products) by 60% over the same period. Our long-term goal is to reach <strong>Net-Zero<\/strong> across our entire value chain by 2040.<br><br>To get there, we\u2019re making targeted changes in how we operate. These include expanding our use of <strong>renewable energy<\/strong> (both on-site production and external sourcing), modernizing our networks and infrastructure for better <strong>energy efficiency<\/strong>, upgrading cooling and heating systems, and switching to low-emission vehicles. Furthermore, the Climate Transition Plan execution is integrated in the incentives schemes of the local and Group Management.<br><br>Ultimately, this plan is not just about compliance, it\u2019s about making our operations more sustainable and future-proof.
